How we Got Here..

After traveling to South East Asia, and covering over 10,000 miles, I was inspired by the intriguing street foods found on every corner. From city to city, I began to try everything they had to offer, from traditional dishes to unfamiliar options. The distinctive flavors sparked an idea to bring the Asian street food scene back to Austin, where I had already established Chinatown in the 80s. My travels allowed me to realize the gap in Asian-American and traditional Asian cuisine, which encouraged me to begin my next platform, Street. The goal with Street is to bring all of my favorite dishes from my travels back to my hometown and share them with you! I hope you enjoy exploring our menu and trying new dishes, just as I did during my travels.
